There are not many companies out there that can keep their reputation for producing such healthy and natural pet products like Earthbath and Nootie.

  1. I’ve never heard about aloe shampoo for dogs. My dog is also suffer from itching and I’ve been washing him with oatmeal shampoo. Unfortunately, he’s still dealing with itching and scratching. My vet recommend me to use fleas medication along with some grain free food to test out. I feel like I should try this Nootie product? You said it just got released?
I definitely wouldn’t mind try it since Aloe and Oatmeal sound natural to me.

      Hi Robyn,
Yea you should try Soothing Aloe and Oatmeal Shampoo by Nootie. There are tons of reviews in Amazon you can check out. They have 100% positive review now, and the product is just released a few days ago. The ingredients are natural so it’s healthy for your dogs. I definitely would recommend try out and see if it helps.

  2. hi there!
I am so glad to have found your review! As a new owner of a pitlab I am now dealing with pitlab skin problems and although I have tried teatree oatmeal soap I have not tried aloe oatmeal soap yet. I think this will work for her as the aloe is so soothing and healing. ALthough we have changed her diet for a grain free diet and I give her fish oil, and rub her with coconut oil as soon as spring came she started to break out again. I am not looking forward to her having spots this whole spring, summer, and fall so I will try out this soap and let you know how it works out. Thank you

      Hi Nomorespots,
I’m glad you found this post helpful. You definitely should try aloe and oatmeal shampoo. My dog has allergies and it helps out. The shampoo makes his fur look very soft and shiny.
I know exactly how you feel. Allergy is a hard and long battle. I also tried different stuff before like grain free diet and coconut oil. I found natural shampoo help.
      Thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. Aloe is great…I grew up on ii in Jamaica. In addition to the things you mentioned such as moisturizing hair, heal cold sores, and boost immune system, where I’m from, it’s used for everything…or so it seems…internal and external. Then oats is also a favorite health food of mine so you are in my good book so to speak…:). I was not aware that aloe had benefits for dogs and other domestic pets. That’s an eye opener for me. Is there any side effects to using aloe in dogs or humans? I have never heard of it but, then again, what do I know?

    1. Author

Some sources believe that Aloe is not good for dog’s digestive system. It’s not recommended to let your dog eat Aloe. However, Aloe is very good for your dog’s skin, especially if he’s suffering allergies like itching and dry skin problems.
Thanks for sharing your great experiences with Aloe!

  4. Aloe shampoo, huh? I never would have thought of that, but it makes a lot of sense. I can see how this would help a dog’s skin, scent and hair, unless there was some sort of allergy to aloe. And I wouldn’t know – is that something people should watch out for?
It looks like you’re putting together a great resource for pet lovers here. Keep it up!
    Best wishes,

      Hi Kevin.
Aloe makes dog’s skin shiny and soft. Nootie and Earthbath use Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo to cure the allergies. However, dogs are like human. They can be allergic to anything. We just need to watch out. If your dog reacts to Aloe product negatively, you probably shouldn’t use the same product again. Nevertheless, I find that pretty rare. It’s always best to consult with your vet though.

  5. Oh this product seems great. Just for the benefits of the aloe alone!!!
The 100% Review on Amazon after just dropping also makes me want to try this product.

I am excited to see what my dog is going to smell like afterwards.

  6. I must say that this seems like a great product, and I never heard of it before. I guess Aloe is great for many things. Sounds like a great mix of natural ingredients and Aloe benefits for the dog.

  7. Aloe is very popular in my country and having this option for the lovely pets is great. The price is ok. Will check it out and share this post with my friends.

  8. Hi Kien,

I have heard of Aloe Vera as this is the kind of tissues we have at home. But I have never heard of this combination, Aloe and Oatmeal, with regard to dog products.

Sounds great that it has a 100% review on Amazon. How many people though have submitted a review to get this high score?

  9. Nootie’s shampoo seems to have great benefits. And I am glad that amazon has revies of Jack Russell owners because my friend also owns one. And he hates that chemical scents so I am sure he will love this shampoo.

  10. I don’t have a pup but I love this info!! Mainly because anything with Aloe Vera and Oatmeal in it gets my attention straight away. My boyfriend’s beloved dog could certainly use a new shampoo and I think this one has some great qualities based on your review. Thank you so much for sharing!

Yea your boyfriend definitely should try Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo for his dog. My dog has bad reaction with environmental allergies. I found that using Aloe and Oatmeal Shampoo helps a lot. He doesn’t itch and scratch that much anymore.

  11. Love your website! Great review! I know of dog owners who have used Aloe Vera to repel ticks and flees. It is a natural ingredient that has many benefits for both humans and animals!

      Thanks Eril,
It just make sense that Aloe Vera is good for dog too. It’s natural and it helps humans’ skin. Why don’t we use it on dogs? This product have a lot of positive reviews. I believe this is a great buy!

  12. Hi Kien..
Awesome Review for this Nootie aloe and Oatmeal Shampoo. I like the fact that it has natural scent, where most shampoos are stuffed with terrible + unnatural scent.
    My dog would love it!
